About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced dietitian to take on a leadership role in our team. You will be responsible for clinically leading the development and delivery of education and training in acute nutrition support and critical care. You will also act as the operational on-site lead for acute nutritional support, supporting the team with daily caseload prioritization and ensuring effective delegation to Dietetic support workers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of best practice in acute nutrition support and critical care.
- Develop and deliver education and training in acute nutrition support and critical care.
- Act as the operational on-site lead for acute nutritional support.
- Line manage and clinically supervise delegated nutrition and dietetic staff.
- Lead the development and implementation of nutrition and dietetic-related guidance and standards.
- Manage a caseload of highly complex individuals requiring complex nutrition support.

Requirements- Recognised degree in Dietetics.
- Accredited post-graduate study relevant to clinical area at Masters level or equivalent.
- HCPC registered Dietitian.
- Established clinical problem-solving skills.
- Completed Clinical Supervisory skills training.
- Established critical appraisal skills.
- Knowledge of current and emerging evidence base, national and professional policy and guidance in relation to acute nutrition support.
- Masters level qualification relevant to specialist area of the role.
- Completed formal motivational interviewing training.
- Other professional, technical, or academic qualification which relate to clinical practice or clinical leadership.
