About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Clinical Lead for our Integrated Autism Service. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality care to adults with autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and outcomes for adults with autism.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide diagnostic assessments and time-limited interventions for adults with autism who do not meet eligibility criteria for statutory services.
  • Provide professional consultation and training to staff across all sectors on autism and related neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Support the integration of the IAS with the existing Adult ADHD service.
Requirements
  • Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or equivalent) as accredited by the British Psychological Society.
  • Registration with the Health & Care Professionals Council as a Psychology Practitioner.
  • Significant post-qualification training in assessment and intervention with autistic clients and other neuro-divergent conditions.
  • Training in specialist assessments for the diagnosis of Autism.
  • Knowledge of policy and legislation in relation to the client group and mental health.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Training in one or more additional specialized areas of psychological practice.
  • Experience of working with clients with mild to moderate mental health problems and/or learning disabilities.
  • Experience of leading projects related to quality of service provision and service development.
