Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Adult Mental Health team in Carmarthenshire, South West Wales. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions to individuals across all sectors of care, including outpatient, community, primary care, and inpatient settings.
Main Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, specialist psychological assessments and interventions to clients, including cognitive assessments of functioning.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of our service's policies and procedures.
- Act as a Specialist Resource, providing advice and guidance to other psychological service staff, including band 7 psychologists or therapists and assistant psychologists.
- Provide supervision to qualified psychologists, trainee psychologists, assistants/graduate psychologists, and non-psychologist colleagues.
- Utilize research skills for audit, policy, and service development and research within the area served by the team/service.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a Doctoral level trained psychologist with experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across the full range of care settings. You will have up-to-date registration with the HCPC and be able to demonstrate further specialist training/experience through having received a minimum of 50 hours clinical supervision of working as a specialist psychologist over a minimum of 18 months.
