Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Adult Mental Health team in Carmarthenshire, South West Wales. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions to individuals, working across all sectors of care.
Main Responsibilities- Provide high-quality psychological assessments and therapy to clients, utilizing evidence-based approaches and techniques.
- Work autonomously, adhering to professional guidelines and the service's policies and procedures.
- Act as a Specialist Resource, providing advice and guidance to other psychological service staff, including band 7 psychologists and therapists.
- Provide supervision to qualified psychologists, trainee psychologists, and non-psychologist colleagues.
- Contribute to research, audit, and service development within the area served by the team/service.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a candidate with a Doctoral level training in psychology, including models of psychopathology, training in two or more distinct psychological therapies, and lifespan developmental psychology. The successful candidate will also have experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across various care settings.
Language SkillsWhile Welsh language skills are desirable, we offer support and training to help you meet the minimal desirable requirements during your employment with us.
