Nursing Associate Opportunity at Greater Middlesbrough PCN

This nursing associate role plays a vital part in the healthcare sector, covering adult, children's, mental health, and learning disability areas. Key responsibilities include performing clinical tasks, promoting health, and conducting screenings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake clinical tasks like blood sampling, electrocardiograms, and wound care
  • Conduct health checks and screenings to promote overall well-being
  • Support patients and their families through challenging times
  • Record patient observations accurately
  • Discuss patient conditions and behavior with registered nurses
  • Prioritize patient safety, dignity, and well-being

Additionally, you will recognize and manage risks and hazards, adhere to infection control protocols, and maintain clean workspaces. You will be familiar with principles of cold chain storage, vaccine handling, and basic first aid/resuscitation techniques.

Achieve a balance of academic learning one day a week and work-based training the rest of the week. Salary: approximately £30,000 per annum, providing a stable foundation for career progression.
