About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Healthcare and Support Professional to join our team at The Friarage Hospital in Northallerton. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients accessing our elective and acute treatment services.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a healthcare setting, with a strong focus on clinical care duties and procedures. A Level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience is essential, as well as the ability to demonstrate the importance of holistic person-centered care.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in delivering high-quality patient care.

Working Environment

The James Cook University Hospital is a designated major trauma centre and provides all its specialties from one site, which is unique for a hospital of its size. It has 1,024 beds, a 24-hour acute admissions unit, and an emergency department, housing the major trauma centre for Durham, East Cleveland, Tees Valley, and North Yorkshire. The hospital has a modern central operating suite containing 20 well-equipped theatres and a 16-bedded intensive care unit.
