About the Job

We are currently seeking an experienced Ophthalmology Healthcare Assistant to join our Eye Outpatients team at The James Cook University Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients accessing our elective and acute treatment services.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a healthcare setting, with a strong focus on clinical care duties and procedures. A Level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience is essential, as well as the ability to demonstrate the importance of holistic person-centered care.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in delivering high-quality patient care.
