CV Library is assisting a leading housing developer in finding a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor for their commercial team in Newark.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in quantity surveying, preferably with a housing contractor. The successful candidate will have strong commercial awareness and a proven track record of delivering contracts on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • To manage all expenditure and ensure value for money.
  • To reconcile cost/value reports and profit forecasts.
  • To onboard subcontractors and suppliers.
  • To maintain and develop professional relationships with clients and customers.
Essential Requirements
  • The ideal candidate will hold a degree or technical qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • They will have significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor.
  • They will be proficient in contractual awareness and negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • They will also have knowledge of Supply Chain management and RICS/CIOB qualification.
Package Details
  • The salary for this role is up to £65,000 per annum.
  • The company offers an annual performance bonus, private medical, car allowance, and company pension.
