Experienced Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client's commercial team in Newark. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of new build housing projects. Your primary responsibilities will include managing all aspects of cost control, including expense control, cost estimation, and forecasting. You will also be responsible for maintaining professional relationships with clients and customers, ensuring timely cash flow management, and contributing to the development of the company's commercial strategy.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in quantity surveying, with experience working on new build housing projects. They will be confident in their ability to analyze complex data, identify opportunities for cost savings, and develop effective solutions to drive business growth. About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree or other technical qualification, experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor, and a proven track record of delivering contracts on time and within budget. It would be beneficial to hold RICS/CIOB qualifications and have knowledge of Supply Chain management.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is up to £65,000 per annum, accompanied by an annual performance bonus, private medical, car allowance, and company pension.
