Medical Director in Palliative Care Specialist

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a leading healthcare provider with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care. We are currently seeking an exceptional candidate for the position of Medical Director in Palliative Care Specialist.
Our trust operates across three sites: Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester, and Andover War Memorial Hospital. We provide medical and surgical services to a population of approximately 600,000 people across Hampshire and parts of West Berkshire.

This role will be based at our headquarters, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and advance skills and knowledge in palliative medicine.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that clinical care of patients is evidence-based and carried out in line with British Society of Rheumatology and NICE guidelines. They will work collaboratively with the rheumatology consultants and practitioner team in planning and providing a gold-standard service.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
