Job Overview:

Academics is a leading provider of education and care services for students with special educational needs. Our school caters to students with a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs, including complex trauma and attachment disorders, generalized anxiety, and behavior difficulties.

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Mental Health Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality support to our students. As a key member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and their families.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in psychology or a related field and a passion for working with vulnerable students. A competitive salary package, including a base salary of £25,500 per annum, will be offered to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized support to students with social, emotional, and mental health challengesWork collaboratively with our Psychologists and Therapists to develop effective therapeutic plansAssist the class teacher in creating a positive learning environmentMaintain accurate records of student progress and performance
