Job Title: SEN Specialist Teacher

About the role:
The position is for an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic SEN Specialist Teacher to start at a special school in South Birmingham. The role will cover a contract for 6 months, working 3-4 days per week. The school supports primary pupils aged 5-11 years with education, health and care plans. All pupils have cognition and learning, speech, language and communication needs, as well as physical, sensory and medical needs.

About you:
To be successful, you should have HLTA status or experience as a UQT in a SEN school or resource base. You must also have at least 6 months of experience teaching within a special school. A TEAM TEACH Certificate is preferred, and you should have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to apply for a new one. As an outstanding educational practitioner, you should have high expectations for your students' progress and development.

Salary and benefits:
