SEN Teacher Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher to join our inclusive primary school in Birmingham. This full-time role focuses on working within our SEMH Provision, supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Full teaching responsibilities including lesson planning, preparation, and assessment.
- Support pupils with SEMH needs, promoting their emotional, social, and academic development.
- Collaborate with the school team to develop and implement strategies that support SEN pupils.
- Maintain strong communication with parents, carers, and outside agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Teacher Reference Number (TRN).
- Ideally, has completed their induction year and can demonstrate significant experience working with SEN pupils, particularly those with SEMH needs.
- Demonstrates a commitment to inclusive education and has a strong understanding of the specific needs of pupils with SEMH.
- Able to work full-time and take on the full responsibilities of a class teacher.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a flexible and proactive attitude.
