Social Work Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Deaf Community Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Work Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals who use British Sign Language.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health and safeguarding adults legislation, as well as experience working with Deaf communities. You will be required to attend multi-disciplinary meetings and liaise with community social workers and other agencies.
This role involves undertaking child visits and home risk assessments, leading on planning for service users' discharge and aftercare arrangements, and identifying resources for service users moving into the community.
The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a permanent full-time role with a competitive benefits package.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and guidance to individuals who use British Sign Language

Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
- Registered with Social Work England
- Proficient in British Sign Language (BSL)
