Job Summary

We are looking for someone who can deliver a level of care that truly comes from the heart, making sure our residents never lose their dignity or sense of individuality. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for helping the Chef to deliver food service of high quality within the home and also with meal service to the residents. You will demonstrate the highest standards in cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene in the kitchen area, including all equipment and appliances, adhering to all regulatory and statutory requirements and company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help the Chef to deliver food service of high quality within the home and also with meal service to the residents.
  • Demonstrate the highest standards in cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene in the kitchen area, including all equipment and appliances.
  • Responsible for the cleaning and washing of everything to do with the meals from the workstation and equipment utilized in food preparation to any utensils used during the meal.
  • Provide refreshments for the residents and guests at the home.
  • Guarantee that areas such as dining rooms and others are clean and stocked appropriately.
  • Be organized and good at keeping records as well as able to follow recipes.
