At Penguin Recruitment Ltd, we are seeking a Strategic Land Planning Specialist to join our team in the north of England and southern Scotland.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Strategic Planning Manager to prepare and implement planning strategies for our current and future portfolio sites.
- Salary:£45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement planning strategies for portfolio sites
- Prepare and submit planning applications for strategic land sites
- Promote land through the Local Plan process and manage site promotion strategies
- Coordinate with stakeholders to move planning applications forward
- Conduct research and provide analysis to support the strategic land planning process
- Travel for site visits and attend meetings across the region as required
- A degree accredited by the RTPI in planning or a related field within the built environment
- At least 2 years of planning experience in housing (within housebuilding, consultancy, land promotion, or local authority)
- Strong problem-solving, research, and analytical skills
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
- Willingness to travel to various sites across the north of England and southern Scotland
