Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team at a secondary special needs school in the Stockport area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to work with students aged 11-19 who have complex needs.

About the Role

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to students with literacy, numeracy, and general subject knowledge. You will also be required to assist students with daily tasks, providing positive reinforcement and promoting independence.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties, as well as those with mental health needs. You will be required to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support student learning and wellbeing.
