Job Title: Head of Legal Practice

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Legal Practice to join our team at Corecruitment. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall compliance with the terms and conditions of our CLC authorisation.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and updating internal policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and training staff on compliance and client-facing quality of service.
  • Reporting directly to the Head of Conveyancing and Directors on matters of compliance and internal policy creation.
  • Overseeing and signing off all lead generation and service advertisements to ensure compliance with CLC marketing requirements.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 years PQE as a qualified solicitor, chartered legal executive, or licensed conveyancer.
  • At least two years of experience in a compliance role working in a legal practice, dealing with KYC and money laundering procedures, regulatory requirements, and client care documentation.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Data Protection, Money Laundering, Training, and CPD obligations.
