We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Legal Compliance to join our team at Corecruitment. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall compliance with the terms and conditions of our CLC authorisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain all internal compliance policies and the overall Compliance Plan.
  • Keep abreast of all regulatory and other compliance changes.
  • Train staff on compliance and client-facing quality of service.
  • Report directly to the firm's Head of Conveyancing and Directors on matters of compliance and internal policy creation.
  • Oversee and sign off all lead generation and service advertisements to ensure all relevant CLC marketing requirements are met.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 years PQE as a qualified solicitor, chartered legal executive or licensed conveyancer.
  • At least two years in a compliance role working in a legal practice dealing with KYC and money laundering procedures.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Data Protection, Money Laundering, Training and CPD obligations.
