Event Manager Job Description

EMR | Specialist in Marketing Recruitment is seeking an experienced Event Manager to join our client, a leading global specialist pharmaceutical and luxury skincare company, on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Brand & Strategy Creative Director and be responsible for planning and executing the company's events strategy.

This role will support the launch of the company's new direct-to-consumer luxury cosmetics brand and pharmaceutical division, which brings their expertise in science, sunlight, and skincare to life through events.

The Event Manager will be responsible for researching and securing venues, planning and managing the global events calendar, and delivering on event marketing plans.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned events professional to shape the company's in-person presence and contribute to the growth of the luxury brand.

The company operates a generous hybrid working model, with 2 days of office attendance and the remainder working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the annual calendar of global in-house events
  • Plan and manage events from start to finish, according to event requirements, target audience, business objectives, and budget
  • Track payment of invoices and shipping of promotional materials
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to secure a detailed understanding of event requirements
  • Create creative decks for internal stakeholder review and sign-off
  • Venue coordination (site visits, contract negotiation, contract management)
  • Event promotion coordination (event marketing and communications)
  • Talent liaison and contract management
Requirements:
  • Extensive senior-level experience in Events Management
  • Ability to travel globally
  • Confident at building and presenting decks
