Event Manager Job Description

EMR is delighted to be working with a leading global specialist pharmaceutical and luxury skincare company to support them in their search for an Events Manager.

This is a permanent role that will see you join the company's UK office in Egham, Surrey, and report directly to the Brand & Strategy Creative Director.

As an experienced events professional, your remit will be to plan and execute the company's events strategy, supporting their new direct-to-consumer luxury cosmetics brand and pharmaceutical division.

You will be responsible for researching and securing venues, planning and managing the global events calendar, and delivering on event marketing plans.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to shape a luxury brand's in-person presence.

The company operates a generous hybrid working model, with 2 days a week spent in the office and the remainder working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the annual calendar of global in-house events
  • Plan and manage events from start to finish, according to event requirements, target audience, business objectives, and budget
  • Track payment of invoices and shipping of promotional materials
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to secure a detailed understanding of event requirements
  • Create creative decks for internal stakeholder review and sign-off
  • Venue coordination (site visits, contract negotiation, contract management)
  • Event promotion coordination (event marketing and communications)
  • Talent liaison and contract management
Requirements:
  • Extensive senior-level experience in Events Management
  • Ability to travel globally
  • Confident at building and presenting decks
