About the Role

As a key member of the Asda Opticians team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire operation, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality patient service. Your leadership skills will be essential in managing your team of Optometrists and Optical assistants, overseeing compliance processes and procedures, reviewing sales forecasting and department targets, and dealing with customer queries.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of Optometrists and Optical assistants to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Oversee compliance processes and procedures to ensure the department meets regulatory requirements.
  • Review sales forecasting and department targets to drive business growth.
  • Deal with customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work closely with an Optometrist to coach and develop your team, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You will be a fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC, on track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD, and confident in coaching others. You will also have a proven track record of leadership in a fast-paced Optics environment and be able to manage your time effectively.
