About Asda Opticians

We are seeking an experienced Optical Manager to join our team at Asda Opticians. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our optical department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and care.

Your Role

As an Optical Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of Optometrists and Optical Assistants, overseeing compliance processes and procedures, reviewing sales forecasting and department targets, and dealing with customer queries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Optometrists and Optical Assistants to deliver high-quality patient service
  • Oversee compliance processes and procedures to ensure regulatory requirements are met
  • Review sales forecasting and department targets to drive business growth
  • Deal with customer queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

About You

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Optical Manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and care. You will have a strong background in optics, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC
  • On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD
  • Confident in coaching and developing others
  • Able to provide excellent customer and patient care
  • Driven and ambitious to ensure the department meets its targets
