About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Lepton Heights care home in Huddersfield. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing person-centred care to adults living with complex mental health conditions, dementia, neuro-disabilities, and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing, planning, and providing nursing care for individuals with complex needs
  • Administering medication safely and effectively
  • Promoting health and wellbeing through education and support
  • Leading a small unit as Nurse in Charge while on shift
  • Managing challenging situations and promoting choice, dignity, and respect

Requirements:

  • First-level nursing registration with a valid NMC PIN
  • Knowledge of assessment, admission, and discharge processes
  • Understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
