We are seeking a fun-loving and active individual to join our team as a Personal Care Assistant. The successful candidate will be supporting a young lady with Cerebral Palsy, who requires 2:1 support to maintain her independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the individual with daily living activities and personal care
  • Assist with transfers using tracked and mobile hoists
  • Administer and record prescribed medication
  • Support daily physio programmes and weekly swimming sessions
  • Prepare meals and assist with eating and drinking
  • Maintain the household by assisting with shopping, cleaning, and laundry
  • Support social activities, including eating and drinking out, swimming, and socializing
  • Drive the individual in their wheelchair-accessible vehicle locally, regionally, and nationally
  • Support overnight trips and holidays
  • Support budgeting and paying living expenses

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license
  • Safe Administration of Medication training
  • First Aid training
  • Hand hygiene training

Working Hours: 48 hours per week, with a mix of morning, afternoon, and evening shifts

Pay: £11.44 per hour, with a weekly actual pay of £2, and an annual actual pay of £28,000
