About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at Mase Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our sales and technical team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strong relationships with industrial clients across the UK.

Your primary focus will be on attending industry exhibitions and events to build market knowledge, identify new business opportunities, and stay ahead of the competition. You will also be responsible for presenting and demonstrating our instruments to Quality & Inspection departments, discussing their features and benefits, and securing sales of instruments with a value of £5K to £50K.

As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be required to cover the northern region of the UK, spending an average of 3-4 nights per month away from home. You will also be responsible for building lasting relationships with Process Engineers, Engineering Managers, Quality Managers, and Procurement teams.

We are looking for a driven sales professional with technical sales/field applications experience dealing with industrial clients. Product experience within areas such as metrology, non-contact measurement, optical imaging, microscopy, photonics, spectroscopy, nanotechnology, motion control, CMMs, materials characterisation, materials testing equipment, vision inspection, hardness testers, linear bearings, motors, or high precision optical encoders would be highly advantageous.

Technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biophysics, Biological Sciences), or affiliated would be advantageous, but not essential if you possess proven success within a technical sales capacity.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales professional who is passionate about technical sales and has a strong understanding of the industrial market. You will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strong relationships with clients, and staying ahead of the competition.

As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be required to work closely with our sales and technical team to achieve business objectives. You will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with new and existing clients, and presenting and demonstrating our instruments to Quality & Inspection departments.
