We are seeking a Corporate Social Impact Lead to join our team in London. This is a fixed-term contract role that offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Job Overview

The Corporate Social Impact Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing our corporate social responsibility strategy, balancing commercial considerations with a passion for social impact.

This role requires strong diplomatic skills to engage with internal departments and external partners, securing their commitment to our charitable programs.

Responsibilities
  • Volunteering and Fundraising:
    • Plan, recruit, train, implement, and evaluate volunteering activity, including team challenges and fundraising initiatives.
    • Capture relevant volunteering data for reporting purposes.
    • Manage and respond to volunteering requests.
    • Oversee all volunteering activity.
  • Community Investment:
    • Support the development of our corporate social responsibility policy and strategy.
    • Maintain records of activities for benchmarking purposes.
    • Collaborate with colleagues on planning and delivering local events.
    • Manage our digital community fund, including applications, quarterly meetings, and charitable donations.
    • Respond to charitable queries and grant funding requests.
  • Reporting:
    • Data collection: Keep up-to-date records on charity and community numbers.
    • Track volunteer activity on our central database.
  • Communications:
    • Coordinate communications across the business for flagship programs, volunteering initiatives, and regional events.
    • Organize photography and videography for promotional materials and intranet content.
    • Update community intranet pages and external website content.
    • Manage your inbox and rejection letters/communications.
    • Create reports illustrating community activity across M&G Prudential.
    • Gather and draft content for social media, external, and internal communications.
    Requirements
    • Understanding of corporate social responsibility and sustainable development issues with a commercial perspective.
    • Experience in project management.
    • Strong communication focus.
    • Excellent written skills.
    Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible working arrangements and work place accommodations.
