Job Description

The International Patient Compliance Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring maximum revenue recovery for the Trust through effective management of international patient income. This involves conducting thorough interviews to establish eligibility, processing invoices, and securing payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct interviews with patients to determine eligibility for free NHS care
  • Process invoices and secure payments from international patients
  • Maintain accurate records of patient activity and financial transactions
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on international patient policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with external agencies, such as the Home Office and Department of Health
Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in administration and project management. A strong understanding of NHS policies and procedures is essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the Trust offers a range of benefits, including pension scheme, annual leave, and access to training and development opportunities.
