Job Summary

The Patient Administration System (PAS) Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the PAS system within The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust. This will involve working closely with the Corporate Operational structure and Patient Access, Medical Records, and Divisional operational teams to maintain the system's functionality and integrity.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, amending, and cancelling clinic templates as approved by the Clinic Mandate process. They will also be responsible for creating and uploading letter templates, liaising with Divisional Management teams to ensure adherence to NHS policies and guidance.

Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in an acute NHS Trust and be an experienced PAS user. They will also have knowledge of hospital procedures, data quality, and information governance, including data protection and confidentiality. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to work under pressure and deliver timely and accurate data.
