Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Locum ACT Pharmacy Technician to join a reputable NHS hospital in Buckinghamshire. As part of our dynamic pharmacy team, you will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes.
Key Tasks:
- Act as an Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) and verify prescription orders.
- Work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective medication management.
- Participate in medicines reconciliation and medication reviews.
- Provide technical support to the pharmacy team and maintain high standards of patient care.
- Manage medication stock and ensure proper storage and handling.
Essential Criteria:
- Hold a valid ACT qualification and prior experience in the role.
- Be registered with the GPhC as a pharmacy technician.
Salary Range: £15-£20 per hour.
