About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Locum ACT Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a leading NHS hospital in Buckinghamshire. As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify prescription orders and ensure accurate dispensing of medication.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to manage medication across the hospital.
  • Conduct medicines reconciliation and participate in medication reviews.
  • Support the pharmacy team in providing technical assistance and maintaining high standards of patient care.
  • Manage medication stock and ensure proper storage and handling.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid ACT qualification and prior experience in the role.
  • Be registered with the GPhC as a pharmacy technician.

Compensation: This is a locum opportunity with an estimated hourly rate of £15-£20.
