Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our Finance and Procurement team at WorldSkills UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finance operations, high reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
Main Responsibilities">- Financial Transactions: Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely completion.
- Payroll Administration: Manage payroll preparation and processing, maintaining electronic records and adhering to deadlines.
- Financial Systems: Develop and implement financial systems, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
- Month-End and Year-End Processes: Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and support end-of-year preparation, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to budget preparation and forecasting, analyzing data to inform strategic decisions.
- Audit and Compliance: Prepare records and documentation for audits and grant claims, supporting compliance.
The successful candidate will be a skilled finance professional who can thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven environment and contribute to WorldSkills UK's strategic and financial objectives.
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Benefits: 25 days' annual leave (increasing by one additional day for each completed year of service up to a maximum of 30 days) plus public and bank holidays. Flexible working options, including part-time work. Reasonable adjustments will be offered to all candidates throughout the recruitment process.
