Clinical Assessment Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced nurse with a background in mental health or psychiatric speciality to join our team as a Clinical Assessment Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' post-registration experience and be fully registered with the NMC without any sanctions or conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet face-to-face with applicants to review medical evidence and determine the permanence of their condition and percentage disablement.
  • Seek further medical evidence from GPs, healthcare professionals, or services as required.
  • Gather relevant information from applicants and analyse clinical information to compile a comprehensive report.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' post-registration experience.
  • Fully registered with the NMC without any sanctions or conditions.
  • Demonstrable background in mental health or psychiatric speciality.
  • Ability to work at pace, set boundaries, and manage conversations.
