We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Nurse Researcher to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.


Job Summary


The Senior Nurse Researcher will lead the nursing team in providing expert care to patients enrolled in clinical trials at our Bone Marrow Transplant Research service.


Key Responsibilities



  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care during participation in cell therapy clinical research trials.
  • Manage own clinical workload and coordinate allocated clinical trials and research studies.
  • Provide expert knowledge and skills in the management of clinical research participants.
  • Utilise effective communication skills to support participants in decision making regarding study entry and participation.
  • Perform a range of clinical procedures as required by the research protocol.
  • Collaborate with haematology ward, ambulatory care, and day treatment unit staff in caring for these patients.
