About the Role

NES Fircroft Ltd is seeking an Onshore Consent and Environmental Expert to join our Offshore Wind Farm team. This role will focus on managing a range of environmental topics through the site selection PEIR, EIA, and DCO application processes.

The successful candidate will have experience in DCO applications, linear development projects, and/or renewable energy projects. They will be able to manage external consultants, review deliverables, and ensure strong stakeholder engagement.

This is a challenging role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Tasks:

  • Drive onshore site selection and route refinement in close liaison with the Land Manager and wider project team.
  • Manage and deliver Technical Engagement Plans in conjunction with consultants and stakeholders.
  • Deliver Examination Strategy, Statements of Common Ground, and written and oral answers to the Examining Authority.
  • Influence examination strategy in relevant EIA areas to minimize risk.

Salary: £58,000 - £68,000 per annum depending on experience.
