Special Education Support Worker

SEMH Teaching Assistant - Abingdon
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a SEMH Teaching Assistant in Abingdon. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work closely with students aged 4-11 who require additional support.
Key Responsibilities- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop individualized education plans
- Provide personal care support to students where necessary
- A Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The salary for this role is £22,500 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include paid training and professional development opportunities.
Working HoursThis is a full-time position, working 8:30am to 3:15pm, Monday to Friday.
