About the Role:

The British Medical Association is seeking a skilled Regional Support Officer to join its London regional team. This exciting opportunity is focused on representing doctors through HR processes and employment matters.

As a Regional Support Officer, you will work closely with BMA staff and reps, applying your knowledge and skills to negotiate, represent, and campaign within a trade union context.

We are looking for someone with up-to-date expert knowledge of industrial relations, employment law, HR policies, procedures, and good practice. Your ability to gather and evaluate information, develop strategies for complex negotiations and cases, and transferable skills will be valuable assets in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent doctors through HR processes and employment matters
  • Develop strategies for complex negotiations and cases
  • Work closely with BMA staff and reps
  • Apply expert knowledge of industrial relations, employment law, and HR policies

Requirements:

  • Up-to-date expert knowledge of industrial relations, employment law, HR policies, procedures, and good practice
