Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Systems Specialist to join our Regional Office United Kingdom team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Microsoft environment, including the support, design, installation, maintenance, and connectivity of our Microsoft Technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft systems, including Windows, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, and Active Directory.
  • System Administration: Manage and administer Microsoft server software, including Windows, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, and Active Directory.
  • Incident Management: Lead incident management processes to ensure prompt resolution of technical issues.
  • Problem Management: Identify and resolve technical problems to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Change Management: Develop and implement change management processes to ensure smooth transition of changes to production environments.
  • Disaster Recovery: Develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery plans for Microsoft environment and services.
  • Cloud Solutions: Manage Microsoft-based or Microsoft-integrated cloud solutions, including Office 365.
  • License Management: Manage Microsoft licenses and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate new technologies for feasibility and implementation possibilities.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Proven technical expertise in Microsoft systems, including Windows, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, and Active Directory.
  • System Administration: Experience in managing and administering Microsoft server software.
  • Incident Management: Experience in leading incident management processes.
  • Problem Management: Experience in identifying and resolving technical problems.
  • Change Management: Experience in developing and implementing change management processes.
  • Disaster Recovery: Experience in developing, maintaining, and testing disaster recovery plans.
  • Cloud Solutions: Experience in managing Microsoft-based or Microsoft-integrated cloud solutions.
  • License Management: Experience in managing Microsoft licenses.
  • Technology Evaluation: Experience in evaluating new technologies for feasibility and implementation possibilities.
