The Royal British Legion Outreach Service is recruiting a Regional Outreach Officer for South & West Yorkshire. As a key member of the team, you will provide specialist support to beneficiaries across the region, addressing complex needs including homelessness, mental health, addiction, domestic abuse, and engagement with the Criminal Justice system.



Key Responsibilities


  • Manage a beneficiary caseload and provide ongoing support to achieve their potential and lead more fulfilling lives
  • Collaborate with the Regional Lead Outreach and the wider Outreach team to deliver holistic support
  • Travel across South & West Yorkshire for face-to-face appointments and organisational meetings
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners to enhance service delivery
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure effective service delivery


Requirements


  • Proven experience in providing specialist support to vulnerable individuals or communities
  • Strong understanding of the complex needs of beneficiaries and ability to adapt support accordingly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
