Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our Emerging Talent team at Pareto, a leading provider of hiring and training solutions in the UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic partnerships and account management.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, particularly in prospecting and cold calling. They will be able to conduct consultative sales, uncover client needs, and present tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will also have strong presentation skills, both online and face-to-face, as well as the ability to build and nurture strategic client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead generation and prospecting: Identify and reach out to potential clients through outbound prospecting and SDR-generated leads.
  • Sales cycle management: Conduct meetings with senior stakeholders, build rapport, understand client needs, present value-based solutions, and close deals.
  • Account management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, expanding our proposition and creating lasting revenue streams.
  • Collaborative team work: Work alongside our delivery team and other Pareto divisions to support clients and win deals, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Client success: Support project delivery and work closely with Client Success Managers to ensure client satisfaction, addressing any risks or issues promptly.
