Accounting Professional for Property Development

RG Consultancy seeks a seasoned Accounting Professional for Property Development to join their team in Alderley Edge.

Overview

This role will support the finance department with service charge and ground rent management, working closely with another property accountant and reporting back to the financial director.

  • 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Key Duties
  • Produce Service Charge and ground rent invoices on a weekly basis
  • Review payments and update relevant accounts
  • Manage daily correspondence, including payments, solicitor cheques, and emails
  • Develop Service Charge budgets and collaborate with property managers
  • Reconcile Service Charges for auditor checks and report preparation
  • Liaise with solicitors as required
  • Answer calls/queries regarding invoices and statements

The ideal candidate will have experience within the property industry or construction, a strong background in accounting, and expertise in service charges.

Requirements
  • A professional accounting certification (AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or studying
  • Experience using QUBE or COINS software an advantage
  • Excellent MS Excel skills essential

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
