Job Overview

As a Senior Social Work Leader, you will be responsible for modeling best practice, mentoring, and coaching colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement training programs to support the growth and development of social care professionals.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Service and Principal Social Worker to ensure consistent social care practice within Adults Services.
  • Mentor and coach qualified social workers, occupational therapists, and ASCAs to improve their practice standards.


Requirements:
  • Degree in Social Work or related field and working towards a Practice Education Award.
  • Proven experience in staff management and training facilitation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


What We Offer:
Ealing Council offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for career growth and development. This fixed-term contract position is available for 18 months, with the option for Ealing Council employees to apply for secondment.
