We have an exciting opportunity to lead a team of healthcare professionals in our acute adult Inpatient Mental Health Services. The Assistant Ward Manager will be responsible for operational management, quality assurance, and patient care on Bracken Ward at Airedale Centre for Mental Health.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with older adults, assessing, planning, and evaluating patient psychological difficulties. They will also have strong leadership skills, ability to motivate teams, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the ward manager with staff recruitment, sickness monitoring, and appraisals
  • E nsuring high standards of documentation, care planning, and risk assessments
  • Providing training and education as required/requested by the service
  • Contributing to data collection and analysis locally and regionally

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, relocation expenses up to £8000 subject to circumstances and eligibility, increase mileage rates for > 3500, wide range of health and wellbeing support packages, internal and external development and learning opportunities, and many more benefits.
