We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Coding Expert to join our team at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the Clinical Coding team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate coding of all speciality-based patient admissions.

About the Role
  • You will have a first-class knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to demonstrate competence in the use of ICD10 and OPCS4 classifications.
  • You will be responsible for extracting relevant clinical information from patient health care records and assigning appropriate codes following established National Coding Guidelines.
  • You will work closely with clinicians, healthcare workers, and other relevant personnel to ensure coding accuracy and integrity are maintained at the highest level.
