Senior Doctor for Adult Medicine

The West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Senior Doctor for Adult Medicine to join its team at the West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary of £**98,000-120,000 per annum**, depending on experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative services in General (Internal) and Acute Medicine. They will work closely with a team of junior doctors, including Specialist Registrars, Clinical Fellows, and Advanced Clinical Practitioners, to deliver high-quality patient care.
A key aspect of this role is the supervision and training of junior medical staff within the specialty. The appointee will participate in teaching and training of medical students on the Graduate Course and the traditional Cambridge course. They will also have responsibilities for ensuring that patients move through the unit effectively.
We are looking for a doctor with at least 10 years' experience in General Medicine, with a strong track record of providing expert clinical opinion on a range of problems in adult general medicine. A background in supervising junior staff and participating in educational activities would be an advantage.
