About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. The role will involve working on adult wards in Derby and Chesterfield, providing highly specialist clinical support to patients with eating, drinking, swallowing and communication needs.

You will work collaboratively with patients, carers and other professionals to identify and work towards shared goals, promoting safety and quality of life for patients in your care.

As a senior clinician within the inpatient SLT team, you will provide clinical supervision to junior team members and provide urgent clinical support for older adult and working age adult wards when other team members are on leave.

The ideal candidate will have post graduate experience in inpatient mental health or a transferrable relevant area, and be skilled in independently managing adult caseloads.

The salary for this role is £46,148 to £52,809 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

This is a permanent position with flexible working arrangements available.
