Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Derbyshire. This is a challenging and rewarding role that offers the opportunity to work with adults in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing specialist clinical support to adult patients, including those with eating, drinking, swallowing, and communication needs. They will also be responsible for providing supervision to junior team members and supporting the development of the SLT team.

This is a full-time position based at Kingsway Hospital, but may require occasional travel to other sites for training, meetings, or clinical cover. The ideal candidate will be able to travel independently between locations.

About the Role

  • Provide highly specialist clinical support to PICU and ECU wards
  • Conduct assessments and interventions for patients with swallowing and communication needs
  • Collaborate with patients, carers, and other professionals to promote safety and quality of life
  • Provide clinical supervision to junior team members
  • Support the development of the SLT team
