This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned residential care professional to take on a leadership role and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and support to vulnerable children.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in residential child care, with at least 2 years' experience in a similar role. They will be responsible for overseeing two homes, managing a team of up to 12 people, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, a respectful and courteous nature, and a willingness to work towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from £44,000 to £50,000, plus a performance-related bonus. As a Registered Manager, you will be part of a dedicated team that provides therapeutic residential childcare for children aged 5-17 years who have experienced abuse and neglect. Our client is a family-run organisation with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality care and support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing two homes and managing a team of up to 12 people
  • Leading and inspiring your team to deliver the highest quality care
  • Providing a stable and secure environment for vulnerable children
  • Identifying training and development needs and ensuring these are met
  • Conducting staff appraisals and supporting career development
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Participating in safeguarding and on-call duties on a rota basis
