People and Culture Director

This is an exciting opportunity to join a Mental health & Wellbeing Charity as Head of HR, overseeing all aspects of HR. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, aligning HR practices with the organisation's objectives, fostering a positive culture, driving talent management and employee development.
The Head of HR will work closely with the CEO, Head of Finance and Head of Operations as part of the Executive team. They will lead the HR function and team, monitoring and updating HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are effectively communicated across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies, processes and services aligned with the organisation's overall strategy and vision
- Lead the HR function and team
- Be a proactive member of the Executive team
- Monitor, update, and advise staff and managers on HR policies and procedures
- Manage the production of relevant and timely information for managers and the Board of Trustees
- To be the lead from the Executive team on the Workforce board sub-committee each quarter
- Ensure the monthly payroll process is completed
- Oversee recruitment, selection, onboarding and retention of staff and volunteers
- Annual staff appraisal and staff survey processes
- Review and consult on the provision of wellbeing support for staff
- Implementation and delivery of the learning and development plan
- Provision of professional, timely and accurate HR advice to managers
Salary: £46,000 per annum, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexible working available upon request.
