Job Description

We are seeking an Automotive Warranty Claim Processor to join our team at Mercedes-Benz of Ashford. As a key member of our warranty department, you will be responsible for processing warranty claims to manufacturer standards.

You will ensure accurate submissions of warranty and goodwill claims on a daily basis, monitoring daily, weekly and monthly warranty reports to identify areas for improvement.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to build relationships with customers, colleagues and manufacturers, and possess excellent communication skills. Previous experience as a Warranty Administrator and knowledge of SYSTEMS is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Examine completed warranty repair orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare claim forms and supporting material, ensuring maximum return from the manufacturer.
  • Review warranty reporting systems with the line manager to identify improvements and administer warranty policy in the best interests of Mercedes-Benz of Ashford, the manufacturer, and the customer.
  • Input manufacturer's warranty payments, return of warranty parts to the manufacturer, and reconcile warranty schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of warranty submissions, credits, rejections, and customer contributions toward goodwill claims.
